Kentucky PGA Junior Tour Announces Callaway Junior Team Challenge

The Kentucky PGA Junior Tour is excited to announce a new event has been added to the 2019 schedule. Old Bridge Golf Club in Danville will host the Callaway Junior Team Challenge on July 17-18. This will be a two-person 36-hole event in which the first round will be played in a four-ball format while the second round will be played in an alternate shot format.

As the event’s title sponsor, Callaway will provide each player with a tee gift and help make this one of the Kentucky PGA Junior Tour’s premier events. The Kentucky PGA Tour is extremely appreciative of Tyler Chilson, Kentucky’s Callaway representative and Mike Kehoe, PGA, Head Golf Professional at Old Bridge Golf Club for their assistance in creating this event.

“It’s an honor to have Callaway on board,” Kehoe said. “Callaway will be doing long drive and closest-to-the-hole contests in addition to the tournament itself, so we’re very excited to have an event like this for the junior golf program.”
