Kentucky PGA Junior Tour Transferring to Golf Genius in 2021

The Kentucky PGA Junior Tour is excited to announce a new partner with its tournament software in Golf Genius. The last several years, Golf Genius has been the host platform to other Golf House Kentucky competitions with Kentucky PGA Section tournaments in addition to Kentucky Golf Association events. Beginning with the 2021 season, Golf Genius will now be the software utilized for the Kentucky PGA Junior Tour as well. Some participants got a sneak peek of the Golf Genius experience during the high school golf season, where Golf Genius was used for the KGCA All-State Championships and KHSAA State Championships.

“We’re very excited about this transition,” Michael Vick, PGA Director, Junior Golf stated. “This is going to improve the overall tournament quality for not only players but families as well. We anticipate this will make for a more user-friendly experience on all fronts.”

One change this includes is that families with multiple children playing on the Tour will need to have separate email addresses for each player going forward because of account settings. A separate email containing instructions for families this will apply to will be sent in the coming days.

With this migration, all participants should be on the look-out during the winter for a new mobile app serviced by Golf Genius that houses all things Kentucky PGA Junior Tour. More info on this will come later in the offseason while its development continues.

The Kentucky PGA Junior Tour would like to thank BlueGolf for its many years of service to the program. The Tour extends its best wishes to them going forward.
