94 Junior Golfers Advance to Next Stage of DCP Qualifying

The Drive Chip & Putt Local Qualifying season in Kentucky has concluded. After four successful Local Qualifiers held at Seneca Golf Course, Man O’War Learning Center, Paxton Park Golf Course, and Triple Crown Country Club, 94 junior golfers will advance to the next phase of the competition, with the hope of reaching Augusta National Golf Club in April still alive.

Of the 94 to advance out of the Kentucky Section’s Local Qualifiers, 85 hail from Kentucky while 9 come from Indiana, Ohio or Tennessee. These golfers will now participate in Sub-Regional Qualifying, with Kentucky’s lone Sub-Regional Qualifier taking place on Sunday, August 18 at Persimmon Ridge Golf Club in Louisville. The 2 golfers from each division with the best score at Sub-Regional Qualifying will advance to the next stage of the competition, which will be Regional Qualifying held outside of Kentucky in September.

Congratulations to the following players who have advanced in Kentucky’s Local Qualifiers! We look forward to seeing each of you on August 18 at Persimmon Ridge.
