Kentucky PGA Junior Tour Announces 2020 Schedule

The Kentucky PGA Junior Tour is excited to unveil its 2020 schedule. Beginning on April 5 at Griffin Gate Golf Club in Lexington and concluding October 17-18 at University Club of Kentucky, the Tour will visit all parts of the Commonwealth in the six months in between. Notable dates and events regarding the 2020 schedule are as follows.

The Kentucky Junior Match Play Championship finals matches will be contested at Hurstbourne Country Club on Sunday, April 26. The Tour is extremely excited and appreciative to be able to contest the Finals at one of Louisville's most historic clubs in Hurstbourne.
The season's first major championships, the Kentucky Junior PGA Championships, will once again visit Richmond in early June. As was the case in 2019, the girls will play at The University Club at Arlington while the boys play Gibson Bay Golf Course.
Once again, there will be a Drive Chip & Putt Local Qualifier in each major region of Kentucky with sites being Seneca Golf Course (Louisville), Man O'War Golf (Lexington) Calvert City Country Club (Western Kentucky), and Stephens Golf Academy (Northern Kentucky). The Sub-Regional Qualifier will once again be held at Persimmon Ridge Golf Club.
Country Club of Paducah is an exciting addition to this year's schedule. Heralded as one of Kentucky's best courses, the inaugural Western Kentucky Junior Championship will be staged there on June 15-16.
The inaugural Barbasol Junior Championship will be conducted June 30-July 2 at Keene Trace Golf Club with the winner of this event receiving an exemption into the Barbasol Championship. The Qualifier on June 10-11 will serve as a qualifier for the event with a to-be-determined number of spots earning a spot in the event at Keene Trace.
The Kenucky Boys Junior Amateur will move to Kearney Hill Golf Links this year and be held July 8-9. The ladies will once again play the Kentucky Girls Junior Amateur at Cherry Blossom Golf Club, with that being conducted July 16-17.
Big Spring CC Inc. - Harmony Landing Campus will once again host the Kentucky PGA Junior Tour Championship on July 27-28, which will mark the conclusion of the Tour's summer campaign.

The full 2020 schedule is as follows. Please note that all dates and venue are subject to change. Other events may also be added. Junior Tour membership will become available in January 2020 with tournament registration coming shortly thereafter.
